Our luxurious, value for money,  fully equipped resort with elegant interiors, accompanied by a fabulous multicuisine restaurant with a seating capacity of over 60 guests, catering to all your food requirements, and well-trained staff will make your stay memorable. It’s a 22 cottage property, out of which 16 cottages are Superior Wooden AC Cottages while the remaining six cottages are Private Luxury Villas out of which 4 cottages have a private swimming pool. All our rooms have en-suite spacious bathrooms. A separate dry and wet area is offered in the bathrooms. What can you do while Staying at CasaWood Resort

The unique thing about Mount Abu is that it is the only hill station in the desert state of Rajasthan. It lies in the Aravalli mountain range at an approximate elevation of around 1220 meters above sea level, with its highest point being ‘Guru Shikhar,’ which is at the height of 1,772 meters from sea level, offering a pleasantly cool climate, a pause from the scorching heat of Rajasthan. It is a blend of culture and forests, making it an exquisite picturesque hill station. Mount Abu Tourism sector is booming, and more visitors are coming around to see this magnificent hill station.

Nakki Lake

Various folktales revolve around Nakki Lake, a popular attraction in Mt Abu approximately 32 kms from Abu Road (App 1 hr). Apart from different folktales, it is also believed that the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were immersed in Nakki Lake during his last rites in 1948, and Gandhi Ghat was constructed. The lake is the first human-made lake at the height of 11,000 meters. The fascinating lake surrounded by lush green scenery, mountains, and rocks makes it a perfect destination for romantic couples, nature lovers, and photography fiends. It is mesmerizing to see the life of Mount Abu unfold as you sail through this serene lake.

Pawapuri

Bheru Tarak Dham is a temple in Pawapuri, surrounded by hills with a  4 km trekking route laid out on the mountain behind bhairu tarak temple. Pawapuri is at a distance of about 59.2 kms from Abu Road which could be covered in an hour and 15min. Then there is Jal Mandir, meaning a “temple in the water,” built-in white marble within the water tank; the tank measures 84 bighas (One bigha is 5 acres, the area is 16.8 acres). The water surface of the lake is covered with lotuses. This architecturally elegant temple in the form of a “Vimana” or chariot has the footprint of Mahavira for worship. A 600-foot-long (180 m) bridge built in stone connects the temple with the bank of the water tank. The temple shines bright and sublime during a moonlit night. The pond has many species of fish that priests and devotees feed. 

Jawai Dam

Jawai Leopard Camp is an experiential jungle lodge set on the edge of the Jawai dam area in Jawai Bandh (Rajasthan) which is approximately 108 kms from Abu road (Approx 2 hrs). It is a property comprising eight luxe tented suites. The site is renowned for its Exceptional Leopard sightings, bird watching, and an exclusive wildlife and bird watching experience.

Toad Rock

Located south of Nakki Lake, Toad Rock is known as the Mascot of Mount Abu. Toad Rock, a trekker’s paradise, is a massive rock resembling the shape of a toad. The rocks here are perfect for trekking, and one can witness a panoramic view of the Nakki lake from the top. This is also at an hour’s distance from Abu Road.

Dilwara Temples

Dilwara Temples located at around 32.4 km from Abu road,  are the finest Jain temples known for outstanding architecture. Intricate carvings on the marble stone and high-quality craftsmanship are visible in every aspect of this temple. The profusion of petals, lotus buds, pillars, carved corridors, arches give it a look of Luxury and offer tourists a sense of peace and tranquillity to connect within.

Guru Shikhar

Guru Shikhar is dedicated to Guru Dattatreya, who is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva. Standing tall at 1,772 meters, it looks majestic and captivating. The temple is believed to house the footprints of Dattatreya, and devotees feel blessed by it. There is a massive bell on the peak with the inscription 1411 A.D. The sound of the bell is carried at a long-distance making the surroundings blissful. Delicious breakfast and hot tea are served at the various small eateries spread around the foothills. You will also find a lot of shops selling beautiful local art that the tourists can carry back as souvenirs back home.
